A friend of mine once told me, if you are going to write,                                                                                                                       write about what you know... So my first book will be about me.

'The diamond is the only stone stronger than a sapphire. I have always                                                                                       thought it was a sign, that this stone is my birthstone, My touchstone and                                                                                 it reminds me that although, life is hard, like the stone. It is also so very                                                                                       beautiful...'

A child with Congenital Rubella Syndrome was not what my parents expected for their first child, but a  cruel twist of fate gave them this gift anyway. A tiny little girl, half blind, half deaf and with a broken little heart that would need fixing.  She wasn't expected to live long. Two heart failures before she was two months old. But she surprised them all. She survived... She was the little girl, with a big heart. She would go on to do things they never believed she could.

But she knew she could, as long as she believed in the strength of her sapphire heart.

'A Sapphire Heart' is my first book, currently in creation. Intended release date... somewhere early in 2016...
